This marina is in the gated community of Mariners Cay. Technically not on “Folly Beach” per se as you still haven’t crossed the bridge onto Folly just yet, it is obviously on the water. Mariner’s Cay marina as of 2021 had quarterly regime fees of $960 that covered the upkeep and maintenance of the marina, the marina insurances, as well as the cost of electricity and water for each slip. This marina like most in Charleston does not allow liveaboard although you can stay for the weekend or a few days occasionally (the owners only), no full-time living is permitted.

The largest marina near Folly Beach is located on Robbins Creek off the Folly River the slips here have a quarterly regime fee of $750 . ActiveCaptains has a rating of 3.5 stars for this marina. Because it’s located off the Stono River the current is fairly strong.
