Designed by Michael Mungo and built in the 1970’s. Later renovated in 2006 that included replacing the greens the course was conveniently situated between Interstates 20 and 26, the Club at Rawls Creek lies inside the Columbia SC Metropolitan area. There are 8 subdivisions around & surrounding the Club at Rawls Creek: Amberly, Brittany I&II, Coldstream,Woodgreene, The Fairways, The Colony. What’s great about this once prestigious golf community is that it is very conveniently located near Lake Murray only minutes away, and homes are extremely affordable. Unfortunately, the the once great Coldstream Country Club now known as Rawls Creek near Irmo closed a few years ago.

The owners, decided to donate the 116-acre course to the Irmo – Chapin Recreation Commission. Eventually, the commission plans to link the 4.5 miles of cart paths to the Three Rivers Greenway, a series of river walks in Columbia and Lexington County.
